Shantou Light Industrial Machinery Co.,Ltd. Was founded in 1957 (developed from Shantou Light Machinery(Group) Corp. “Shantou Light Machinery Factory”.) Up to now, it has been fighting its way forwards for more than 40 years. Domestically, it took the lead in making the first double seamers. And in 1996, it became a professional can-making factory directly under the leadership of Ministry of Light Industry. In the 80s, it presented its full automatic Resistance welding Machine canbody production lines. Within the domestic can-making industry, the Corp is the top and the most influential one, with the longest history, the best product quality and the most comprehensive size of products.
 
    Based on can-food machinery production and relying on scientific research, Shantou Light Industrial Machinery Factory Co., LTD is an incorporate group combining scientific research industrial undertaking and business transaction. At the turning point of corporation reformation, the Company is undertaking an inner structural adjustment and assets recombination. At present,it is co-operating with some famous offshore enterprise. They are: Taiwan SHIN-I NO.2 Machinery Works Co., Ltd. Joint-Stock Corp.,HK Minghan Enterprises Co., Ltd., Taiwan KUANCHYOU Joint-Stock Corp.
 
    Under the leadership of the Corp, there are 4 branch factories and 3 joint-venture companies.Among them, there are 4 key units responsible for 4 major product sires: designs, production and after-sell services of The Resistance Welding machine canbody equipment, solid and empty can facility, sterilizers, glass jar vacuum sealing machines, and tinned plate coating ovens.
 
I. SHIN-I Machinery(Shantou) Co., LTD
    It is a Chinese-foreign joint venture founded on Dec.27,1999,by Shantou Light Industrial Machinery Corp., Taiwan SHIN-I Machinery Works Co.,Ltd.and HK Minghan Enterprises Co., LTD.It specializes in producing solid and empty can equipment. Taiwan SHIN-I is the biggest manufacturer of can-making equipment and food handling facility in Asia. Its products has been granted quality certificate of ISO-9001 for its high qualiry. Shantou SHIN-I makes full use of the working drawings of Taiwan SHIN-I in producting empty solid can equipment. And Taiwan SHIN-I is in charge of the technical support and production management,which can ensure that, quality of equipment provided is in accordance to the quality standards of SHIN-I. It is providing overall technical services for sustomers from home and abroad.
 
II. The Resistance Welding Machinery Factory
    Since the 1980s, it has introduced advanced technique from Japanese NPW Company and has been specialized in making professional corollary equipment of Resistance Welding Machine series. At present, its product series of Resistance Welding Machiner canbody production line made in line with international standards, has reached international advanced level and has been granted a silver prize of State High-Quality Product.Since the state Economic and Trade Committee named these products as “substitutes for imported goods” in 1987,new ones have been innovating years after years. In 1995, its Product was granted as the “State Product”and was the best seller domestically. Now, the Corp is providing customers with 5 classes of full automatic (80 can/min,150can/min,300can/min,500can/min).
 
III. Pressure Container Factory
    With pressure Container production licensee, it is specializing in making professional sterilizers for can food and is experienced in designing and manufacturing pressure vessel. Its bactericidal pot products can be seen in many domestic can food factorise. There are vertical and horizontal, back swing and water spraying bactericidal pots, as well as self-contained full automatic and semiautomatic sterilization controlling system. Besides, we have developed automatic and semiautomatic sterilization controlling system. Besides, we have developed after-sterilization production line of automatic can cleaning ,charging and unloading. This means that the post-handling equipment of the can facotory is unitized. The “Shantou Sterificw 1300”adopted with complete set of technique of the famous French Barrycan Compay, has reached international advanced level and therefore if an excellent choice of sterilization facility.
