Zhejiang Qiandaohu Funday Aquatic Products Co., Ltd is a bran-new share-holding enterprise jointly invested by Hangzhou Qiandaohu Development Co., Ltd, Zhejiang Fangding Group, Zhejiang Xin-An-Jiang Canned Food Co., Ltd. and Taizhou Weiji Business Corporation. It had been prepared for construction in Feb, 2007 and was completed in eight months as a modern aquatic products processing enterprise integrating green aquaculture, process and sales of domestic & foreign trade products, and scientific exploitation of new products. Located in Pingshan Industrial Park of Qiandaohu(also named Thousand-Island Lake), a celebrated national forest park in Hangzhou City, it covers an area of 138mu with registered capital of 25 million RMB and the investment for the first phase of 50 million RMB. Due to the processing capacity of 5000 tons of Channel Catfish and Penaeus Vannamei, anticipated annual revenue can achieve 200 million together with foreign exchange earnings of USD 30 million and profit tax of 25 million RMB.

   Qiandaohu, situated in Chun’an County, Hangzhou city, covers an area of 860 thousand mu with its average water depth of 34m. As national first-class waters, it is very suitable for channel catfish farming. In possession of nearly 1000mu seeds breeding bases, the biggest freshwater farming bases in Zhejiang province, the company takes “company + bases + cooperatives” and order-oriented production as our operation model to assure the adequate materials supply. Since the construction of 16000 square meters workshop on international standard up to the FDA and EEC requirements, including a 3000-ton refrigerator, four professional production lines on channel catfish and three other lines, company is principally engaged in the finish machining of channel catfish and penaeus vannamei. Having owned the self-support right of export in 2007, it got US FDA registration number, HACCP and BRC certificates subsequently. Depending on such top-ranking plant facility, advanced processing equipment and unique natural resources could the company be striving to be the largest and most progressive modern freshwater fish processing & exporting base in Zhejiang.

  Presently, the main products are channel catfish series (including frozen fillets, maws, airbladders, pelvic fins, nuggets, steaks, etc.), as well as penaeus vannamei, whose materials are all pollution-free under the control of FDA and EEC strict requirements on drug and pesticide residues. In the absence of mud smell, they are titbits among freshwater foods with fresh and delicate mouthfeel, thus exported to America, Canada, EU, Russia and other countries with great popularity.
