Haisheng Group is one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of apple juice concentrate in the PRC. Since 1996, the Group is principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of fruit juice concentrate and juice concentrate related product, namely clear apple juice concentrate and de-ionized apple juice concentrate, and an apple juice concentrate related product, namely apple aroma. Since August 2004, the Group has also been engaged in the production and distribution of a pear juice concentrate product, namely clear pear juice concentrate. More than 90% products are exported to nearly 30 countries and area with main inclusion of USA, Canada, Germany, Australia, Russia, Japan and so on. According to the data from the PRC Customs Information Centre in 2004, the export volume of our Group reaches nearly 85,000 metric tons and stands first on the list in the industry of apple juice concentrate in PRC.

　

Our Group has built up 5 production plants in strategic location, where the 5 plants are located in Qianxian Shaanxi, Pulandian Dalian, Weinan Shaanxi, Qingdao Shandong and Yuncheng Shanxi respectively. Haisheng Group is able to sizably produce apple juice concentrate with varying levels of acidity to meet our customers’ needs. The Group possesses 6 advanced production lines for producing fruit and vegetable juice. Production capacity for apple and pear juice concentrate was 205,000 metric tons per pressing season.

　

The Group possesses a management group with professional knowledge. With the rapid development of requirement of juice beverage in wild world, we are going to expand further production capacity and develop new kinds of fruit and vegetable juice in order to meet increasing needs. The Group has ability to produce clear apple juice concentrate with varying acidity level in a large scale to meet its customers’ needs.

　

The Group set up diversified market net. Our products were mainly exported to the US, Canada, Germany, France, Australia, Russia and Japan, etc. It could be able to avoid the risk brought by single market. In addition, we could adjust the sale shares of distributing our apple juice concentrate to different international marketing according to the trend of juice price.

　

The Group places strong emphasis on the quality of its fruit juice concentrate products and imposes stringent quality control standards throughout the raw material procurement, production and delivery processes. The quality control standards adopted by the Group not only comply with applicable PRC government standards, but also meet the internationally recognized standards in the food industry. In 2000, the Group was entrusted by the Shaanxi Province Quality & Technology Supervisory Bureau to draft and compile the ‘National Quality Standards for the Clear Apple Juice Concentrate’. Aforesaid standards commenced to implement in China in July 2003.

　

Sizable production capacity
In the end of 2004, the Group’s total production capacity for apple and pear juice concentrate was 135,000 metric tons per pressing season. By the end of 2005, the total production capacity of the Group reaches 205,000 metric tons per pressing season.

　

The Group deployed up-to-date production facilities in each of our production plants and a majority of machinery and equipment employed in the production were imported from most advanced overseas suppliers. The automatization and advanced technology of our machinery and equipment are placed in the international leading level in the field of processing apple juice. The highly automated production process and the up-to-date facilities enable the Group to maintain high product quality at a comparatively low production and operation cost.

　

The Group’s 5 production plants are located in Shandong , Shaanxi, Liaoning and Shanxi provinces, which these provinces produce the most volume of apples in the PRC. Strategic locations enable the Group to stably procure apples at a low cost.

　

In November 2003, the Group takes the exemption from the US anti-dumping duty.

　

The Group has an experienced team of managers and officers who possess extensive knowledge in the fruit juice concentrate industry. All the senior management staff of the Group has experiences ranging from approximately five to ten years in the fruit juice concentrate industry.

　

The Group has established our own research and development department which has been staffed by a team of experienced technical and engineering personnel and equipped with advanced equipment and technology. The Group’s research and development department has collaborated with and commissioned other third party research institutes to develop new products and improve production know-how that facilitates the PRC fruit juice concentrate industry as a whole.
